Swimming Pool Service is fairly straightforward - in my opinion it is all about preventative maintenance. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, once you have the knowledge and some experience of water chemical balance, it is really about keeping on top of the service schedule and accounting for the variables in outdoor swimming pool maintenance.
I started out by trying to promise all the bells and whistles with the pool services side to my business, I was marketing an online database of weekly test results for owners and property managers, marketing completely custom pool service, etc, etc. Truth is, in the Florida market - they just want their pool clean... at the right price!! That is my experience anyway. We now promote a 'hassle-free' service, uniformed service and quick response to (if there are any) problems.
Just landed a 'smallish' contract worth $7200/year with a management company for pool service, and waiting on confirmation for another 70 pools on weekly maintenance...
